I had a conversation with Dean Jewell a while back about kayaking on the Pine. Some of the local folks have done a ton of work cleaning it out for kayaking and canoeing.  Dean has kayaked all over WI and he say that the scenery on the Pine River is some of the best around. It is less congested than others and offers a very diverse landscape ranging from dramatic rock outcroppings and bluffs to beautiful lush meadows. Following are estimated times for folks looking to explore different sections of the Pine.

Rockbridge to Hwy D: 1hour 45 minutes

Hwy D to Bowens Mill: 3 Hours

Bowens Mill to Soccer Fields: 2 hours 30 minutes

Soccer Fields to Community Center: 30 minutes

Community Center to Bridge near WRCO: 1 hour 30 minutes

WRCO to Bridge between Walmart and Pine Valley: 1 hour 30 minutes

Pine Valley to Twin Bluffs: 2 hours

Twin Bluffs to Gotham: 2 hours 30 minutes
